A tight encounter which produced a slender victory for Anchorians. Not one player registered a maximum, with Harry Jones the closest, just losing to Sean Mcmillan in five legs.  Shev Mcdonald also picked up a brace, but couldn't outwit the steady Jeff Norman, losing three straight. Chatham captain Segun Ake had an off night and was bamboozled by Paul Norman's serves, losing easily in three. Ake did manage to take Jeff Norman to a decider, but couldn't get over the line and left empty handed. Anchorians won the doubles to secure the 6,4 victory
