A fabulous match with both teams fielding a strong line up. The star of the show was Scottish legend and Cowdenbeath fan Ian Gordon, who was in superb form in picking up a maximum. The best of his victories was a hard fought three leg win over Martin Hewett. The latter picked up a brace, which included a  11,8 fifth leg win over Simon Forest. Russell Bates could only manage a lone victory but should have beaten Graham French after being two legs up but the Howard player showed his fight to come back and win in five. Luton won the doubles to keep themselves top of the doiubles league. Mark Keefe was the only player to leave empty handed.
