The top two were in action and Luton 2's slender hopes have come to an abrupt halt and now Howard have one hand on the premier crown.  Will Wrapson would probably have made a better fist than the Luton players after this 9,1 drubbing!.  Scottish independance fan Ian Gordon swept aside Allen Crowe and Simon Forest did the same against Martin Ball. Miro took the first leg off of Andy Norwood but the latter showed his class to win in four. Then some resistance from beefy with an excellent three leg win over Gordon, then, with the exception of the doubles, it was fairly comfortable. A great win for Howard.
