Boxley 1 raced into a 5-0 lead before Rainham 4 staged a comeback winning 4 of the last 5 points, so in the end just losing 4-6. The order of play was altered to enable Georgi Atanasov to join the frey,and he led Rainham's comeback with wins over Lyndon Gurr and Gary Hentschel, and only losing his other game by the narrowness of margins to Barry Roles. Georgi's teammate, Sam Woodcock, had mixed fortunes, losing to Gurr in straight legs but then having two very tight 5 leg battles, going down to Hentschel but beating Roles. He then joined Georgi for a comfortable Doubles success. Rainham's Captain, Graham Watts, went winless on the night but was inconvenienced by a sore eye.
