For the first time this season Luton fielded both Ross Childs and Dave Hopkins in their line up and it paid dividends as the former Parkwood players went unbeaten in singles and Doubles to secure Luton's first win of the season. The win moves them off the bottom of Div 1. whilst visitors, Chatham Dorset, are now 8th of the 9 teams. Ross and Dave were made to work hard for their trebles particularly by Julian Barker and Gareth Fox who did get some rewards for their efforts by both beating Luton Captain,Tony Boarer, as did Dorset's 3rd player Phil Humphries.
