Sturdee bounced back from last week's heavy defeat to inflict a 9th loss of the season on Rainham 2. Dan Stokes was Player of the Match with a treble and Brother Nick weighed in with two wins only losing to Rainham's best player on the night, Mick Hambelton, who also added Neil Tydeman to his list of victims. John Coleman also had a 5th leg win against Neil. Mike Ingram took at least one leg off each of the Sturdee trio but was unable to add any points to the scoreline. The Doubles was a close affair with the home side just getting home in the decider to secure the 7-3 result.
