Chatham Dorset recorded a welcome 2nd win of the season just getting the better of visitors Rainham 3. It was an extremely close match with 6 of the games requiring a deciding leg meaning a late finish. Dorset Captain Gareth Fox led the way with his first hatrick of the season including coming back to save 3 match points in the 3rd leg against Jazz Plaha and then winning legs 4 and 5. Jazz had earlier also provided Julian Barker with his sole win but did beat Claire Blackman in 5 . Tim Davie also saw some 5 leg action gaining 2 victories over the maximum distance against Claire and Julian. Dad Jim had a mixed night losing to Claire and Gareth but coming back to beat Julian from 1-2 down in legs.The Doubles at the end of the evening summed up the tightness of the  match with Dorset just getting home to confirm the 6-4 win. The result means Dorset are now just one point adrift at the bottom of the table behind Rainham 2.
