In the first half of the season, Boxley 1 were one of only 2 teams to beat Rainham 4. The return fixture this week was a totally different affair with Rainham gaining revenge in the most impressive way. Georgi Atanasov, Alan Morton and Sam Woodcock showed great skill and technique ( and a home share of nets and edges !) to hand out a 10-0 thrashing. Alan, with his very effective away from the table style, has now moved into 2nd position in the Div One averages with this latest hatrick which earnt him his 6th Player of the Match Award. Georgi plays closer to the table but with good control and only dropped one leg in his 3 wins. Sam had to work harder for his treble being taken the distance by both Gary Hentschel and Barry Roles but also recorded two 11-0 leg wins on the same evening against Roles and Boxley's 3rd player, Lyndon Gurr. Boxley fought to the end and nearly took the Doubles but were denied a consolation point 11-5 in the 5th.
