Match Report

Rainham 4 repeated the 7-3 scoreline of the first encounter between these two sides with Alan Morton gaining his 7th Player of the Match Award of the season. His latest treble means that since the end of September last year he has only lost one game, impressive consistency. Sam Woodcock seemingly likes a 5 legger as all his singles and indeed the Doubles, where he partnered Morton to victory, needed a deciding leg. He beat Andy Larner from 2 legs down having earlier lost out to Mike Kemlo from a 2 leg advantage. He added a 2nd win against Peter Mortley 11-4 in the 5th. Kemlo was Woods' best performer only losing to Morton. Peter got a single win against Graham Watts who in turn beat Andy who is finding victories hard to come by this season.
