Congratulations to Upnor A, who with this 2nd 7-3 victory of the season over Boxley 1, secured the Div One title with two matches to go. They have been top all season and are averaging over 7.6 points a match which is an impressive statistic. Peter Worthington and Nick Boden registered fairly comfortable trebles even though Nick was being hampered by a foot injury so the Boxley trio took it easy on him !!. Upnor's 3rd player, Dave Gracey, lost to Gary Hentschel and Barry Roles but beat Lyndon Gurr in his opening game. Hentschel/Roles just got home 11-9 in the deciding leg to take the Doubles for Boxley's 3rd point.
