Rainham 4 went into this match needing 2 points to secure 2nd spot in Div One but knew it was going to be tough against the mighty Upnor A who put out their best line up. Rainham needn't have worried as their star man, Alan Morton, gave another excellent performance with a most impressive treble. By beating Shane Jarrett (11-9 in the decider) he finishes top of the Div One Averages relegating Shane to 2nd spot. Alan's teammates Georgi Atanasov and Sam Woodcock have had good seasons but fell short against Shane, Peter Worthington and Nick Boden. Worthington finishes 3rd in the averages and will pit his skills next season against Medway's top players as Upnor have won Div One by an massive 22 points. Hopefully Rainham will join them in the top flight but the exact League layout will be decided in the Summer.
