LUTON INVICTA 9 RAINHAM 5 1
Rainham 5 are finding life difficult at the moment and they went down 1-9 to a good Luton Invicta team which saw trebles for Mick Forrester and Mary Ball, a double for Sandra Parkes and a doubles win. Rainham had only a five set win for Tony Parry over Sandra, depriving her of her treble, to show for their efforts and despite some fine efforts and 3 five setters Rainham suffered a heavy defeat. Things will improve for Rainham as they progress and meet some less strong teams during the season.
