This was a much improved peerformance from Rainham 6 who only had 2 players but Vic Hope with a brace and an Eddie Stevens single plus a straight sets doubles win meant that Rainham 5 crept over the line with a close 6-4 win.  For Rainham 5 there were singles for all three of their players with Keith Adams and Steve Hayes beating Eddie and Bob Mahon losing his first game to Eddie but then beating Vic so that everybody got something from the match.
