This match was a personal triumph for Gannet captain John Clark who got his maiden treble as a Chatham player when beating Keith Adams, Steve Hayes and Bob Mahon.  He was well backed up by a brace from Zhong Jiao Tan, a single from Liu Yan Guo and John and Zhong won the doubles.  For Rainham Steve and Bob both beat Liu and Keith beat Zhong which meant that everyone came away from the match with something to be happy about.
