Chatham Ark Royal posted another big win, this time Sturdee 1 were their victims. Martin Birley posted a treble and was supported by  Stuart Fritter , who picked up a brace, as did Belfast player Brian Lees.
Brian Lees showed tremendous courage to fight back from two down to defeat Tim Vaughan, 11,7 in the fifth but was halted from his maximum by Nicky Stokes who was in tremendous form to  win 12,10 at the death. Tim Vaughan looked like he might go winless on the night but in his last match he defeated the awkward  Stuart Fritter in four legs. Dave Bonner managed a few points on the night, but couldn't quite get over the line and left empty handed
