An amazing match with some surprising results but Sturdee were in top form in their 7,3 triumph. 
Dan Stokes, Tim Vaughan and Dave Bonner all registered doubles with the latter having a excellent end to the season. Sam Berham picked up a brace for Belfast, but couldn't get past Tim Vaughan, who won in four legs. Brian Lees was outgunned by the Impressive Dan Stokes, losing the third and fourth legs 11,7 but had the consolation off doing the double over Tim Vaughan, with a fourth leg victory. Dave Bonner lost his first match to Sam Berham but fought hard to blast past the usually reliable Shev Mcdonald who surprisingly left empty handed.  The best match of the night was a fifth leg marathon between Brian Lees and Dave Bonner, with the latter squeezing through 13,11 in the fifth, a terrific win for the Sturdee player
