Last season's Div 1 runners up, Rainham 3, look set for another good campaign as they thrashed hosts Boxley 1 in their opening fixture. Alan Morton and Georgi Atanasov led the way with trebles only dropping legs against Mick Sheppard and Lyndon Gurr respectively. Sam Woodcock beat the afore mentioned Boxley duo but came unstuck against Barry Roles in a hard fought 5 legger. The Doubles was a good contest but ultimately Rainham got home in 4 legs to secure the 9-1 result.
