A match between the two Div 1 Chatham teams produced an incredibly close match with seven 5 leggers meaning a post 11pm finish. Jacob Goodchild is taking Div 1 in his stride recording his 2nd successive maximum but only just. He beat James Townsend 13-11 in the decider and also just edged past Claire Blackman 11-9 in the 5th. James had a agonising 2nd deuce loss in the decider against Christian Griffiths but did beat Shaune Hollis in aother 5 legger to get something out of the evening playing up from Div 2.  Shaune also lost his other 2 games against Gareth Fox (in 5) and Claire(in 4) and Gareth added a 2nd win against Chris to deny him a hatrick. The "home" side took the Doubles inevitably 12-10 in the 5th to secure the draw.
