Cliffe Woods 2 went top of Div One following the last round of matches and will stay there after this 10-0 beating of Sturdee 3. Dave Lewis, Alan Bridle and Peter Mortley helped themselves to hatricks despite the best efforts of Neil Tydeman, Andy Marchant and Jas Plaha. Mortley was given the hardest test needing a 5th leg to get past both Jas and Andy who did hold a 2-1 leg advantage. The visitor's nearly salvaged a point in the Doubles but they lost that in the decider as well, it just wasnt their night.
