Howard 2 are the new leaders of Div One following their 5th straight win, this week away to Sturdee 3. Tony Bull recorded his 3rd maximum in consecutive matches and sits 2nd in the individual averages. John Kane was also on hatrick duty but was pressed all the way by Jaspal Plaha but eventually got the win in the 5th leg. Jaspal was not deterred, however, holding off an Alex Clarke comeback to beat him 11-7 in the decider and stop the whitewash. Alex won his other two against Jill Shipton and Colin Hawkins who was making his debut. Sturdee have only managed one point in their last two matches and are 3rd bottom.
