Rainham 3 had a crucial 2nd 6-4 win of the season over hosts Cliffe Woods 2. These two sides sit 2nd and 3rd in the Div One table and the former now has an 8 point advantage but have played one match more. This match turned at the end as Cliffe led 4-3 but the last two singles were nailbiters with Georgi Atanasov and Alan Morton just getting the better of Dave Lewis and Peter Mortley respectively both over 5 very close legs. They then teamed up to take the Doubles for the winning point. Alan Bridle was Cliffe's best performer on the night beating Georgi from 2 legs down and taking out Rainham Captain Graham Watts three straight. Unfortunately Graham also came up short against Peter and Dave.
