Cliffe Woods 2 promotion hopes suffered a major blow when they played Div One leaders Howard 2 with only two players this week. The evening started well for the hosts when Mike Kemlo won the opening match against Alex Clarke 12-10 in the 5th. However, that was the only highlight as Dave Lewis lost all 3 for the first time this season. He did push John Kane all the way but the Howard man held on to go unbeaten on the evening as did Player of the Match, Roger Morley, who continued his fine form not dropping a leg in singles or Doubles.
