Rainham 3's last defeat was back in November against this week's opponents so the hosts must have been worried when they saw Chatham Dorset's strong line-up for the return fixture. Sam Woodcock made a welcome return to competitive action but found it tough against the quality of Jacob Goodchild, Frank Wing and Charlie Cook so it was left to Alan Morton and Georgi Atanasov to achieve the 6 points and secure the narrow victory. Georgi did lose to Jacob but Alan continued his almost perfect season with yet another treble without dropping a leg and team up with Georgi to take the all important Doubles. With 3 games of the season left to play the race for the runners-up spot between Rainham and Cliffe Woods is down to just a 2 point difference.
