UPNOR  C  5  BOXLEY  2  5.

The 2022-23 season got underway in Division 2 with a match between two of the title contenders in Upnor C and Boxley 2 and finished in a draw.  For Upnor it was a welcome return to match play for Tony Jarrett and he responded with a fine treble over Bob Ellis, Paul Paulding and Derek Myers.  Evergreen Kathy Hall got a double, only losing to Bob but it was a less distinguished start to newcomer to the league Gavin Burch who didn't trouble the scorers.  For Boxley Bob won two and Paul and Derek both beat Gavin and it was left to Bob and Paul to win the doubles in 4 and clinch the draw.
