Despite the presence of Tony Jarrett in the Upnor team (Tony went through the evening unbeaten, including the doubles) the Chatham trio of Roger Chipperfield, Steve Collins and Chris Morford proved to be too much for Spencer Webb and Brenda Aherne and they all won two to complete a team victory.  Spencer was a little unlucky to lose all three as he took both Roger and Steve to five but he did have the consolation of partnering Tony to a 9-11 victory in the fifth win in the doubles.
