Mick Sheppard had a good night winning all three of his singles and pairing with Paul Paulding to take the doubles.  He was well backed up by Paul with a brace and Bob Ellis, despite having an off night, chipped in with a single.  For Invincible Malcolm Kay came off the substitutes bench and managed to win a couple of games in beating Paul and Bpb but found Mick too much.  Stewart Day also managed to beat Bob, but John Allen, despite winning sets, did not manage a single win.
