This match was marred by an injury to Keith Chamerlain of Rainham which resulted in Luton getting two uncontested points.  Mary Ball and Dave Murtagh both got doubles plus a walkover but Sandra Parkes, who had earlier beaten Keith lost out to both John Caplen and Mick Maguire.  Rainham also won the doubles when John and Mick beat the all ladies pairing of Mary and Sandra in a four set dopubles win which leaves Luton just two points behind Furious with a crucial game in hand.
