Upnor owe the closeness of this match to an inspired performance from Tony Jarrett who got a treble over a very good  Invicta trio of Keith Ball, Mick Barber and Dennis McConkey dropping only a single set on the way.  Kathy Hall also got the better of Mick Barber but Brenda Aherne drew a blank for Upnor.  With Keith and Dennis both getting doubles and Mick the single plus a doubles win Luton managed to get a 6-4 win which leaves them six points behind Furious with one game to play at the top of the division.
