Congratulations go to Luton on this victory which ensures that they get the division 2 title by the  very small margin of 2 points depriving Furious at the death.  Although Upnor arrived with only Tony Jarrett and Spencer Webb the two of them put up stern resistance with Spencer having the best night of his season in beating Keith Ball and only losing in the fifth to Mary Ball.  Tony also beat Keith but Dennis McConkey with two wins and Mary doing the same coupled with the fact that Upnor had only the two players saw Luton over the line and they also won the doubles to complete the job and take the title.
