Match Report

A great start to the season which produced no outright winner. Wayne Youngs registered a terrific maximum, which included a surprising three leg  demolition of Martin Ball and  four leg victories over Terry Clapperton and Will Wrapson respectively. Tim Vaughan picked up a brace and came back from the dead, two down to defeat Martin Ball, the backhand  maestro finding  his form to win 11,8 in the fifth. Will Wrapson also posted a double, but couldn't quite get past Charlton fan Wayne Youngs. Dave Bonner left empty handed but lost all his legs fairly close. Luton managed to avoid defeat with a fifth leg doubles win, Will Wrapson And Martin Ball just edging past Wayne Youngs and Tim Vaughan, a terrific match to start the new campaign.
