Match Report

Cliff Woods have strengthened their squad this season with the capture of Matt Emery and he will be instrumental in their quest for the title. He played in their first match against newcomers Sheerness and dropped just one leg all night, Paul Kelly winning 11,9. before losing the next three. Phil Thomas and Alan Longhurst didn't lose  leg between them but Jason Adams did manage to get 9 points in the first leg against Phil, before the Cliff player's class shone through.  Keith Ludlum is a good tricky left hander and was probably hoping Skippy would turn out!, as he is  the latter's bogie player!,  unfortunately, he would have to leave disappointed!, The doubles was the closest match all night and it took a 11,5 fifth leg win to complete the whitewash
