A comfortable win for Sturdee with only Paul Norman troubling the scorecard for Sherness. The Sherness player overcome Dave Bonner three straight but that was their only victory. The latter was pushed all the way by Michael Barker before winning the last two legs 11,7,11,8 for a fifth leg triumph. Wayne Matthews and Tim Vaughan picked up maximums, not losing a leg between them.
