Cliff Woods were 8,2 winners against a spirited two men Cumberland. Matt Emery picked up a comfortable double and was supported by Alan Longhurst who also went unbeaten, although he had to save match point in the fifth, to finally overcome inform Segun Ake, 12,10 in the decider.  The latter though did have the consolation of defeating Christopher Drury, coming back from two down to finally win 11,8 in the fifth.. The ever vocal Shev Mcdonald also managed to squeeze a fifth leg victory over a luckless Chris Drury,  a  rare zero for the Cliff player
