Cliff Woods turned out their big guns against Sturdee 2! and were rewarded with a 9,1 victory. Paul Cronin and Phil Thomas both secured maximums although Mehdi Golchehreh did well to pick up a leg against Phil Thomas. Nicky Stokes was in impressive form against David McAulay smashing his way to a 11,8 fifth leg victory and Mehdi Golchehreh looked like he would do the same, with some brilliant hitting and going into a 3,1 fifth leg lead, before skippy found some form to finally win 11,6 in the decider.
