Cliff Woods managed to pull of a great result against a strong Sturdee 1 side. Paul Cronin and Matt Emery both picked up comfortable trebles  as did Alan Longhurst although Dave Bonner managed  three close legs against him 13,11, 13,11 and 11,8. Wayne Youngs also took one of Matt Emery but the big surprise was Wayne Matthews not winning a leg all night, a rare bad day from the Sturdee player. Cliff march up the table, closing in on the pack and looking good for the kill!
