Ark Royal took another step in their quest for the runners up spot, with a 9,1 drubbing of Rainham 
Without their talisman Rikki Clarke, it was always going to be difficult. Mark Buckley and Stuart Fritter both posted trebles and were supported by reserve, Jamie Somerset,  who picked up a brace. Dave Barr continued his steady improvement by beating  Jamie, surprisingly, three straight. Georgie Atanasov played up from division one and did well to take Jamie all the way to the fifth, before just being edged out , 11,9 at the death. Chatham have to play Cliff twice, before the season ends, and this will likely determine who will finish second
