What could have been a potential banana skin for Cliff in their quest for second place, was anything but.
Dean Chipperfied was surprisingly absent, so Moruf Oladimeji was called up, but Cliff were on fire. Paul Cronin picked up his customary treble as did Alan Longhurst who got revenge on Moruf, with a terrific fourth leg victory.
Abbie Hurley managed to win the first leg 11,3 against Alan but the Cliff player fought back and won the next three fairly comfortably
Chris Drury has been in excellent form the last few weeks, and he joined the party again, posting a brace
Jamie Somerset was out of sorts and surprisingly couldn't win a leg all evening, a great win for Cliff and now with the 2nd and 3rd having to play against each other, twice, a thrilling finish beckons
