After last week's 10-0 win, Chatham Endurance came back down to earth with a 2-8 reverse at Cliffe Woods 2 who, themselves, have started the season strongly. The youngsters from Chatham performed well, however, providing a stern test for their more experienced opponents resulting in a post 11pm finish. Robert Coe had a splendid straight legs win against Dave Lewis and then teamed up with Steve Carter to secure a 2nd point in the Doubles from 2 legs down. This was against Player of the Match, Peter Mortley, and Cliffe's other hatrick performer, Alan Bridle. Chatham's 3rd player, Daniel Gubala, made both Lewis and Bridle play a 5th leg but just lost out 11-9 and 11-5 respectively.
