Rainham 2 took full advantage of a Chatham Furious side weakened by injuries and unavailability of players to boost their points balance. Mick Hambelton, John Coleman and Tim Davie saw off the revised Furious line-up of John Clark, Mike Carlyle and Chris Griffiths without reply at the hut. Davie was particularly frugal with the points only losing a total of 32 in his 3 single wins and Hambelton also recorded his hatrick without dropping a leg. Coleman had to work harder for his victories going to a decider against Griffiths and playing 4 legs against the other two.
