These two sides recorded the first drawn match in Div One this season. Visitor's Luton 2 were on course for a shock win leading 5-2 going into the last 3 rounds but Woods clawed their way back to earn a share of the points and keep their unbeaten record. Ross Childs had a great evening ending Peter Mortley's 100% status (in straight legs) and also taking out Dave lewis without reply before sealing his hatrick with an 11-9 5th leg win over Mike Kemlo. Ian Sayer added useful wins over Dave and Mike but Luton's 3rd player, Dave Hopkins, had a rare blank evening going closest against Mike but eventually losing 11-9 in the final leg. Its now a 3-way tie at the top of Div One. Luton stay 4th.
