Rainham 1 are now one of 3 teams sharing the lead in Div One following this 9-1 win at Chatham Furious. The home side battled hard with little reward as Rikki Clarke and Dave Barr recorded trebles. Rikki now tops the individual averages and didnt drop a leg in this match although one leg with James Townsend was won 19-17 ! James did get his team's sole point getting the better of Vinnie McAneney in the 5th and despite losing the 3rd leg 11-0. Alex Low also performed well for Furious and led Dave 2-1 before running out of steam in legs 4 and 5. Mike Carlyle completed the Furious line up and is still finding his way in this division. Rainham face one of their title rivals, Chatham Endurance, next week whereas Furious will play Luton 3 at the other end of the table.
