Boxley 1 started the new year with a convincing victory over Chatham Dorset thereby completing a seasonal double over them. Gary Hentschel, Lyndon Gurr and Barry Roles all improved their averages with hatricks. The closest game of the night was Phil Humphries v Gurr when Phil took a 2-1 lead in legs only to be pipped 11-9 in the 5th by the Boxley Skipper. Phil also took legs off Hentschel and Roles as did Dorset Captain Shaune Holliss who produced some good winners but not quite enough to change the scoreline. John Jennings completed the host's line-up.
