Luton 2 repeated the 6-4 win from earlier in the season when they visited Rainham 2 and move up one place to 4th in Div One. Dave Hopkins was Player of the Match beating both Mick Hambelton and Tim Davie in 4 legs and John Coleman in the 5th. Ian Sayer added 2 wins but lost for the 2nd time this season to Tim. Luton Captain Tony Boarer chipped in with an important win against John to secure the narrow victory as Rainham (through Davie/Coleman) took the Doubles coming back from 2 legs down.
