Boxley 1 reversed the score from the first fixture between these two sides when they entertained friendly rivals of many seasons, Rainham 2 this week. Perhaps it was the warmer venue that suited them as they raced into a 4-0 lead before Tim Davie fought back with a 4 leg success over Lyndon Gurr and a deciding leg victory over Barry Roles. Tim couldnt, however, master Boxley hard hitter Gary Hentschel who completed a hatrick. Mick Hambelton and John Coleman came up short in their singles matches but salvaged something from the evening when they teamed up to take the Doubles and earn a 3rd point for their side.
