A match at the top end of Div One ended with Cliffe Woods recording a 2nd 8-2 win of the season against Chatham Endurance. The scoreline doesnt reflect the closeness of the match as there were many close legs that could have had a different outcome. The match had to move to two tables at the end of the evening to ensure a circa 11pm finish. Alan Bridle obviously likes playing Endurance as he registered a 2nd hatrick against them but was pushed all the way by Johann Le and Steve Carter. Peter Mortley and Dave Lewis provided good support with 2 wins each only losing to Chatham Table Tennis Club stalwart Trevor Towers. Endurance sufferred their first Doubles loss of the season. Woods climb back up to 2nd demoting this week's opponents to 3rd.
