Cliffe Woods 2 are back on top of Div One following this 8-2 victory over Sturdee 2. Dave Lewis achieved his first Player of the Match Award of the season recording a treble without dropping a leg. Peter Mortley maintained his 3rd spot in the averages  with his 7th maximum of the season. For the visitors, Andy Marchant's good recent form came to an abrupt end but his Dad, Phil, making his first appearance of the season, fought off a Mike Kemlo comeback to win 11-9 in the decider, a great effort. Jas Plaha also beat Mike for Sturdee's 2nd point.
