Div One basement side Luton 3, came off 2nd best to an in-form Boxley 1 and now find themselves 9 points adrift at the wrong end of the table. They only had a Doubles' success for their efforts when Keith Ball and Dennis McConkey salvaged a point at the end of the evening. Gary Hentschel has started the 2nd half of the season with 3 hatricks and his blistering back hand winners could not be matched as he took the Player of the Match Award. Lyndon Gurr had a busy evening and was taken the distance by all the Luton players but he emerged unscathed. Barry Roles had to go to a 5th leg to defeat Dennis and took out Keith and Mick "the Jeans" Barber in straight legs. Boxley are 6th in the table.
