Sturdee repeated the 9-1 scoreline from earlier in the season when Luton 3 visited Newington Village Hall. The Div One bottom side were struggling for players and called up Steve Reeves from the 4th team. He didnt disappoint as he beat Peter Stokes and also took legs off both Andy Marchant and Dave Bonner with some impressive play. Sturdee took all other points on offer although Mick Barber also gave Stokes a fright, taking a 2-1 leg lead before the League Chairman came through in the 5th. Dave Murtagh completed the visitor's line up losing three straight to Player of the Match Andy and in four to Stokes and Bonner.
