Sturdee 2 reached the 100 point mark with this latest victory and also secured 4th spot in Div One with one match left to play. Dave Bonner has hit some good form in recent weeks and recorded his 4th maximum in a row. He was tested by Ian Sayer in his opening singles but got the job done 11-8 in the decider. Ian recovered to win his other two (against Andy Marchant and Dan Stokes), for the visitor's two points. Luton are struggling with fielding a team in the last part of the season and had to call up Steve Reeves from the 2nd Division. He performed with credit taking legs off both Andy and Dave.
