A good battle between 2nd and 3rd ended with the points shared when Rainham 1 took the Doubles at the end of the evening(only Endurance's 2nd Doubles loss of the season). Johann Le has had a very consistent season and once again displayed his emerging talent with a fine treble. Gary Clarke has not played much this season but pushed Johann all the way to a deciding leg and also went 5 legs with Maxwell Antrim but without reward. He did, however, get on the scoresheet against Steve Carter who was also beaten by Rikki Clarke and Dave Barr. Rikki also delivered Maxwell's only defeat. Rainham now only need 3 points to ensure finishing in the top 2 against Leaders Cliffe Woods 2 next week, or win 8-2 to take the title. Endurance will need a maximum victory to have any chance in their match against clubmates Chatham Furious.
